FAQs

Yes, we place the highest priority that each project participant is safe while attending the Orlando Project. One way we are committed to providing safety for your child is by having policies in place such as a nightly curfew that is daily upheld and checked. Please refer to the OP Policies page for further details.

Yes, under our contract with Universal Studios Orlando, there are enough jobs reserved for each participant to have while attending the project. Due to Universal Studios appearance and criminal background policies, there is a small percentage of students who may be prevented from being hired at Universal Studios. In those cases, we work with the individual student to arrange other job opportunities.

We encourage as many students as possible to drive and carpool to the Orlando Project. Cars are needed to transport students to and from their summer employment.

Orlando Project

Where it all Started

Visit Our Site

Campus Outreach, founded in 1978 at Briarwood Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, AL, is an interdenominational ministry targeting strategic college campuses in the United States and throughout the world. The vision of Campus Outreach is to “Build Laborers on the Campus for the Lost World.” We seek to build laborers with a commitment to the Great Commission through evangelism and discipleship. We are passionately reaching students with the gospel and training them to become mature followers of Christ. Our desire is then to see students leave college fully equipped to labor in the harvest field for the glory of God.

What is the Orlando Project?

The Orlando Project provides opportunities for students to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ. From various small groups interactions and project-wide meetings, these opportunities are designed to help students learn how to better study the Bible, memorize Scripture, pray, interact with others, and build Christ-like character. Join us in supporting students to take advantage of this life change summer opportunity.
